My accounting knowledge was very limited when I started this business at age 23. I didn’t have a clue how to work Xero, run GST reports, code correctly or set aside appropriate amounts of money for tax. I had been told that every minute spent with an accountant will cost you a fortune, yet I was full of questions and wanted my books to be perfect! I came across BWR and told them I wanted to learn everything, I wanted everything explained in full to me so I could do most of my accounting myself. Craig set a fixed accounting fee per month and this allowed me to call, email or text any questions through as they arose as well as look over my GST each month and file my end of year. I couldn’t be happier with the service I have received and the fee per month is totally affordable! I am not looking at my watch hoping that I won’t get a large invoice for my time. As a young female starting my very first business I am a big believer in creating a team around you that helps you to succeed. Kate is a great teacher and never makes you feel like any questions are stupid, every time I have had a question for her I receive the response almost immediately with clear instructions of how to complete the task.
