SM (George) Speedy

Born in southern Hawke's Bay, George completed his secondary education at Wellington College. After graduating with a BCA from Victoria University, he spent two years in the capital before being seconded to Edinburgh. Returning to Hawke's Bay in 1984, George joined Brown Webb, becoming a partner in 1996.

George's work is focused in areas as diverse as rural, retail and the service sectors. He is also the BWR director responsible for the Heretaunga Building Society, which has a variety of rural, commercial and residential clients.

For leisure George enjoys watching motorsport, and keeping fit.
